I believe a blog is the prequel of social media. Even before the “everyone” can be on it, existed the blog or even just the personal webpage. It was and is a novelty.
Nowadays, you can get on facebook or zipzoom or whatever the kids are doing nowadays and publish your thoughts. It was only facebook or myspace for a while. Remember Geocities??? Holy crap that was awesome too. Like a special club. We weren’t nerds. We were the cool kids. The “cool kids” thought we were nerds, but they don’t know much. If you want to get down to it, they have never really known much. Not to their displeasure. It was just hey, if you follow the crowd, the crowd could get you lost. I think.
This blog is just an outlet. It’s a place where if I have a big thought. If I want to express something to a crowd that isn’t my family and friends. I post it here. Maybe it gets a look. Maybe I send it through text to some friends. I’m not going to post it directly to Facebook. What’s the point of that? If you know me and you want to find the thing that makes me want to have fun, this is it. This is the secret lair, but not too secret. It’s just if you’re paying attention, you’ll find it. I hope you enjoy it. I want to be an enjoyable human above all else. Someone that is balanced between what I believe and what I’ll accept. What I can say is my core values and what I can say that’s silly, but I still love everyone that has a role in my life. If you are a role, if you are a reciprocal friend, thank you. You have a special place in my heart. So much so that I’m probably going to need a by pass to get rid of some of you. Peace!
